Mobile Video Surveillance Systems Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

It’s important to not forget physical security in our discussion of how to secure your personal belongings.  Sure, protecting things in and around your house is simple…just lock your doors and put up fences. But in many situations a problem arises when valuable things must be left outside with no good option to protect them. Video Security Systems are very important and there are many options for it…however a pretty cool one I came across is a mobile surveillance unit.

Mobile video security trailers are a thing of the future. You can rent one of these and set it up outdoors. It will have motion detectors monitor a 360° circle (including straight down) providing surveillance in areas that normally would be hard to reach. If the motion detectors see something,  halogen floodlights will switch on and a warning message will sound from the speakers (which can say whatever you’d like). Seems like a pretty great Video Security System.

Have you have noticed that there are a dozen different companies in the UK offering home phone service? But which of these has the best prices and service? For that matter which of these is available in which UK areas? Surely there are more choices today in the Midlands than a simple BT landline. But are there as many options for home phone service in Lanarkshire, Scotland as in Bristol?

How on Earth is one to make a valid home phone service comparison? Even RBS is in the picture with the option of a Post Office home phone. Virgin Media combines home phone and broadband service together at a discount. It would seem that Virgin and the venerable Post Office are unbeatable in their prices, but are there lower priced deals available where you live? To find out simply go to HomePhoneChoices.co.uk. At Home Phone Choices you can use their handy and free home phone comparison too. Home Phone Choices has collected all of the data on the prices and services available for home phones throughout the UK and entered that information into their unique database. For you to receive a report of that information simply type your Post Code into the search box on the Home Phone Choices homepage and click to submit.
